Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for assisting executive chef and executive sous chef in developing supervising and coordinating all kitchen subsection concept, especially in Pastry and bakery section, to achieve a high level of service and operation. Reviews kitchen performance on a regular basis in all kitchen area and build a team spirit.
- Creating, testing and evaluating new pastry and dessert recipes
- Keeping a budget for the pastry department
- Buying fresh fruits and berries and ordering supplies from various vendors
- Supervising chefs in training in the pastry kitchen
- Discuss menu planning with the other chefs in the restaurant
- Keeping the kitchen organized
